How Can I Help?

How Do FRIENDS help?

Through donations, book sales and membership contributions, Friends support:

  • Library Renovations
  • Children’s and Family Programs
  • Children’s Summer Reading Activities
  • Media Equipment
  • “Book Pages” - monthly book reviews
  • Staff Development & Recognition
  • Library Furnishings & Supplies
  • Library Card Sleeves
  • Bookmarks
  • Friends Website
  • Volunteer Recognition
  • Library Advocacy

Save your McCaffrey's Supermarket receipts and bring them to the library when you come and place them in the small shopping cart reserved for these receipts.  Each month McCaffrey's gives the Friends a percentage of the total of those tapes.  Tapes can only be  redeemed for one month from the date of purchase, so please bring in your tapes promptly!    Thanks for participating and thanks to McCaffrey's for their generosity.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are so pleased to have your support, and would like to share with you some ways you can become more involved in your wonderful library community!  There are many opportunities to help – and sure to be one that you would enjoy!  Please take a moment to review the list below and call or email if you would like more information.

We would love to have you join us!

Get your feet wet by volunteering for one of our book sales!  Our annual book sale is held in August.

Saturday Programs – We have wonderful programs on a variety of topics throughout the year.  All are scheduled on Saturdays at 2pm.  Come early, set up some chairs, meet and introduce the speaker, and enjoy the program!

Hospitality – Help is needed for various staff and volunteer recognition and other special events.

Publicity – Help get the word out about your library!  There are many ways to get involved.:
